IMPLEMENT STEERING SYSTEM

  AutoFarm Implement Steering Systems

The world's first implement steering system, AFTracker - puts GPS precision where it's needed most, in the
ground or in the seedbed. This extension of RTK AutoSteer actively steers both the vehicle and the imple-
ment to minimize yield loss caused by implement drift in uneven soil conditions, sidehills and contours.

  Product Options

HJV Equipment has installed and calibrated more than 30 AFTracker implement steer systems in Eastern Canada and
Michigan.  Our first system – installed in 2006 – utilized the Orthman steering coulters and was mounted
  on a 6-row potato planter.

More recently, we have been able to integrate the AFTracker system onto planters that already have a steering axle.
This eliminates the need for the steering coulters and mounting arms that are part of the standard AFTracker package.

Regardless of your specific needs, we can design and integrate an AFTracker steering solution that will meet
  your needs.

The Acura Trak Guidance System featuring implement guidance built in a
tractor 3-point hitch was developed in 1987. This solved the problem of cultivator
damage to crops with cultivation possible using 16 rows at speeds of 8 MPH .
Producers are also still using this sub-inch accuracy today in bedding,

strip till, cultivation, and keeping implements accurate behind tractors
  steered with GPS.

Why Acura Trak? - Implement “Tail-Out” is eliminated by lengthening and
shortening the 3-point lift arms of the tractor. This is accomplished by movement of the Acura Trak crank arms
as the tractor moves from the center of the row. Thus, the tool bar, when properly stabilized, is always 90 degrees
to the row and the working tools are centered.

Implement guidance wouldn't work if the implement moved and didn't trail
properly. To solve this problem and make the implement stable and trail properly, the

Sunco Stabilizer was designed and produced. It features unique coil spring down
pressure and easy field adjustments with heavy duty construction to handle today's
biggest equipment. To keep implements trailing properly behind tractors equipped
with GPS steering, the Sunco Stabilizer is a must.
